The ROCK105 Adirondack International Toboggan Championship is a fundraising effort by ROCK105 and USA Luge to raise funds to support USA Luge. In 2013, the 4th Annual Championship will take place at the Lake Placid Toboggan Chute on Saturday, January 26th from 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Who is USA LUGE? USA Luge was founded in 1979, and is responsible for recruiting, developing, training and supporting athletes in the sport of luge on a nationwide basis. It is their mission, in the spirit of the Olympic movement, to provide for the achievement of excellence in the sport of luge, with the highest degree of sportsmanship and victory as the standards. The organization is highly regarded as a model for success, having won medals at World Cup, World Championship and Olympic competition. USA Luge’s reputation as a well run, transparent, and ethical organization that produces winning athletes has become a point of pride for USA Luge. Outstanding athletes, continuity of leadership and longstanding relationships with corporate sponsors have been the cornerstones of the organization’s success. Why Support USA LUGE? The organization does not receive funding from the federal government, unlike the teams they race against in major international competitions. Who supports the U.S. Luge Team? Americans, just like you. The team recently lost a major sponsorship amounting to nearly 40% of their entire budget due to a shift in the sponsor’s marketing strategy. They need your help and urge you to take part in the North American Toboggan Championships! All proceeds will go to support the athletes and programs of USA Luge.

How Can You Support USA LUGE? You can get involved on various levels from coming out to watch the day of the event, getting your friends and family together to form at a 4 person team to participate in the event, or by becoming a sponsor.  For more information on registering a team click here For More information on becoming a sponsor click here (or) call Michelle Clement at (518) 891-1544 or Dmitry Feld at (518) 523-2071.
